Day 9 耶 17:7-14
7 倚靠耶和華、以耶和華為可靠的，那人有福了！
8 他必像樹栽於水旁，在河邊扎根，炎熱來到，並不懼怕，葉子仍必青翠，在乾旱之年毫無掛慮，而且結果不止。
9 人心比萬物都詭詐，壞到極處，誰能識透呢？
10 我─耶和華是鑒察人心、試驗人肺腑的，要照各人所行的和他做事的結果報應他。
11那不按正道得財的，好像鷓鴣菢不是自己下的蛋；到了中年，那財都必離開他，他終久成為愚頑人。
12 我們的聖所是榮耀的寶座，從太初安置在高處。
13 耶和華─以色列的盼望啊，凡離棄你的必致蒙羞。耶和華說：離開我的，他們的名字必寫在土裡，因為他們離棄我這活水的泉源。
14 耶和華啊， 求你醫治我，我便痊愈，拯救我，我便得救；因你是我所讚美的。
Day 9 Jeremiah 17:1-14
7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters，
Which spreads out its roots by the river，and will not fear when heat comes；
But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
10 I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.
11 “As a partridge that broods but does not hatch, So is he who gets riches, but not by right；
It will leave him in the midst of his days, And at his end he will be a fool.”
12 A glorious high throne from the beginning, Is the place of our sanctuary.
13 O Lord, the hope of Israel, All who forsake You shall be ashamed.
“Those who depart from Me Shall be written in the earth，
Because they have forsaken the Lord, The fountain of living waters.”
14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise.
Praise the Lord for He is our only option in the dark, trusting in God in any environment will bear fruits so we will gain the confidence and strength from Him. "They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream...It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Our Lord search the heart, and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct. Relying on the power of people may get us a lot of wealth, but this wealth will eventually leave us. Similarly when we rely on the power of people in our weakness, we will eventually fall into the darkness and despair. Let us once again see through this passage, the Lord's throne is exalted from the beginning, God is still our refuge and hope. We can look upon Him for healing and salvation, staying away from the people of wicked ambition and ignorance, gaining the promise of His faithfulness and making our hearts poured out words of praise.
感謝神，為我們指明了在黑暗中唯一的選擇是耶和華，在任何環境中信靠神的必結果子，得著信心和力量。”祂必像樹栽於水旁，在河邊扎根..., 在乾旱之年毫無掛慮，而且結果不止”. 因為神是鑒察人心、試驗人肺腑的，祂必定報應每一個人。依靠膀臂的人表面上得到很多財富， 但這些財富終必會離開他們。當我們因著依赖人的力量最終陷入软弱无力，黑暗和失望的時候，讓我們藉著這段經文再一次看到，耶和華的寶座從太初就安置在高天之上，神的寶座今天仍然是我們的避難所和盼望。我們可以迴轉仰望祂的醫治和拯救，遠離人的邪僻和愚昧，得著祂的信實和應許, 使我們心裏湧出讚美之詞。
